Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    5% limo. I dont like it on my car, but it was on there when i bought it. Changing to 35% bronze tint when i have time to let the shop remove whats on here and put the pretty stuff on!

      Here in Missouri, the state troopers are the only ones who can check tint. County cops and city cops might be able to, but im not sure.

      Anyway, the device used to check tint sits atop a side window. If the windhsield is tinted, there's no way to check it.

        I have 35 all the way around.. if i could do it over, money is too tight and better suspension is next, i would go either 20 all around or 35 up front and the rear 3 windows, 20 or 15.. but its ok now.. just need a lip and drop it more.

            To the OP: I think 150 is a great price for tint. Mine got quoted for 250 for all windows. Which isn't that bad but still.

            You see models at every car show.
            But have you ever seen a model that actually takes the car she built to a show?

              I wouldn't mind some 35% all around (except windshield) but Delaware's stupid enough to not allow you to have your front windows tinted unless you have a waiver. Even if I did, I'd still get pulled over and waste time telling the guy I have one.

                  i got 20 all around...but i plan on doing the back two vent windows and rear windshield 5...and its not hard to DIY...the back window is a pain though..i always get it done at a shop..

                      psh even 250 is a good deal lol i payed 350 for mine lol and its a coupe.


                      i got 20% all around and its kinda dark and hard to see out of at times but i love the look of it

                        35% tint all around except for front windshield.

                        I removed the front months ago since a nj statey didn't like it and gave me a ticket...

                        Got all that done for $80. The tint guy said he would of done it for $100 if I went darker in the back.

                        So I say don't pay more then $120 for tint...

                          i plan to go south for a clean shell so i am getting everything ready and the way i want it so that i can just swap parts to a clean body. besides, fixing the rust on this shell.... well, its just not worth it. it is bad.. washed up nice it doesnt look too bad but i will have this one for a bit yet..

                                i want to tint my roof window, the oem tint or wat ever on the inside of the window is comin apart, eather replace the window, or tint it.
