honestly those solenoids are the originals (painted, because i cant afford new ones)

i soaked the tranny in Kerosene than scrubbed the whole thing with diesel and a toothbrush. dont laugh, i had to improvise.

Nice dude, I remember cleaning the clutch bellhousing for my Malibu, the only thing that would remove the 20+ years of caked clutch dust was lacquer thinner, and lots of it. Man what a day.......

thanx for the positive feedback guys.
this was actually maybe 10 months ago when i first got my accord. Her transmission was so bad (pictures only tell half the story).
I might have missed a gasket there and spot there, I was planning to clean my drum that holds all the clutch plates but was in the hurry and just left it untouched.

Maybe, soon, or sometime this winter ill try to take the tranny apart clean it even more, give it that "clean look". While the tranny is out,
i might work on the pistons and possibly post a couple pictures of my new clean bottom end of a f22. If not than ill just go fish around this forum and maybe post a comment on every single thread out there.

yeah just painted, haha,
i used nothing expensive, just went to a gas station and bought 2 gallons of diesel and found 1 gallon of Kerosene. just soak the transmission in those and scrub the crap of the tanny. after words just rinse it off with carb cleaner and let the tranny air out for a day or two.
