ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    My junkyard find

I go to the junkyard often and on my last visit thought to myself "I should be looking at the front bumpers on the cb7's to find foglights" and less than a minute later what did i find.

I was able to get everything the harness, brackets, and even the oem switch. There are not to many acura's in the yard, but that same day found a front lip spoiler off a legend sedan. I know its not the best fitting lip but im going to go with it. So all in all I was able to get the front lip, foglights, harness, and switch for $20. I searched the junkyard hard and out of 26 cb7's only one with foglights

Luck. I never find fogs. Just other extremely rare unheard of accesories.

I can always find cool stuff i don't need, but can never find the things i want to find ( like tan oem floor mats )

I wish I knew what was rare, I read through tons of threads on this site a day, and still am barely dipping into these cars. It's amazing how many options were avaible on the cb7's. I love mine more everyday.

I didn't buy my foglights, someone else did in 1996 for $148.40

I like it how people charge more then that for used fogs

That $148.40 was for brand new fogs and they installed them.

I look for anything out of the ordinary.. usually suspensions or engine mods then move into the interior and look for alarms and radios and other cool shit.. its fun. i love the junkyard.

EDIT: Tippey you can still buy OEM fogs from the dealership. there like 140 i think... not sure

There are several full alarm systems, it just seems like a hassel to try and get it all set up on my car.

Did any of them still have the remotes? Thats the hard part to find

And no you can't buy new foglights anymore, they're discontinued and sold out.

No remotes, thats what i figured would make it too difficult.

Unless your particular honda dealer has them in the back they are no longer avalible. Or else people on this fourm would not pay $200 for used foglights from some douchebag.

I found a honda dealership though that has access to hondas special parts warehouse. They can order me my OEM keyless entry remote.
