ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

definitely sedan because of the boosted, naturally aspirated and engine swap possibilities there are. And by it being a sedan, you'll recieve a lot more suprised faces when they start the "my (mustang, camaro, muscle car, grandmas car, pickup truck, american car with VTEC stickers with huge wing and bumblebee muffler, etc) can smoke that POS riced out Honda" trash talking. Then all they see after they talk smack is your license plate. Sedan....nuff said.

lol, what? Body style has no bearing at all on the "boosted, naturally aspirated and engine swap possibilities there are". Anything you can do to your double four banger (four cylinders, four doors to bang too) engine wise, I can do to my coupe.

Having said that, both body styles have their good points and bad points. Coupe - sexier than a four door, less window hardware to go bad, but - harder to get in and out of the back seat.
Sedan - easier to get in the back seat, does have the surprise factor DSH is talking about but not quite as pretty as a coupe and you have an extra set of everything door related that can go bad and need replaced.

Flatline - When I swapped motors in my Corolla sedan, I opened up both doors, put a folded tarp over the seat and floor, and then my cousin and I lifted the engine up onto the tarp and fought it into the back seat. It just takes muscles and determination. You could take the seat out, that would make it a little easier, and then you don't have to worry about grease and dirt on the seat itself.

              Who's everybody?

Honestly its all about personal taste and needs. I wouldn't get a sedan or a wagon but I love the look and stance they get when modded.

                      Im a FoDoHo.

But im thiking about eother a coupe or wagon.

IMO, coupes are good if you dont carry too many ppl, stuff, etc. They weigh more than the sedans though, so thats a

I think the sedan fits right in the middle. No need to carry large items in a wagon, but i like to have more room than the coupe, if needed.

You're right, VisualPoet. There are no boundaries with "boosted, naturally aspirated and engine swap possibilities" dealing with both coupe and sedan. IMO I think the sedan is more sinister when boosted, naturally aspirated and in addition, adding a supervillian of a 4 cyl. engine I know suprises the hell out of some people because of the whole "family, economy and grocery getter" mentality and apperance of a sedan. While I enjoy looking at a CB7 coupe too, I'd rather enjoy drooling over a "grocery getting, passenger carrying, economy friendly ass-stomping" CB7 sedan.

                              Peace.
