Seriously though, I do notice that some of the people that come on here typing like idiots initially grow up and start typing like human beings. Honestly, that makes me feel really good. If people never learn anything about their cars, it's nice to know that maybe one or two of them will learn a thing or two about respect, of themselves and others. If one member can become even a slightly better person due to their experiences on this site, then it's worth putting up with it!




And my point in the original post wasn't intended to crack on those that don't know much... it was aimed at those that don't know how to communicate without being a dumbass.

I gotta say I admire everything you do here, you do this for the 2 out of 100 people that have the Ali G typing syndrome on this site by that by some miracle read this and actually change and try to change how they type so we can read it.

I know I don't have the best writing skills, hell I cant write an essay if it would save my life, but I try and spell out every word how it should be spelled. Keep in mind I came back to the country in 2001 after living in Dominican Republic since I was 5 years old, so pretty much all my education was over there.

I guess i am not the only one here after reading TONYMONTANA'S post. I came to the states in 2001 from El Salvador and i know that my grammar is pretty bad, but i try the best i can, not to do that!!! i am still learning the language without going to school and i just think that typing is for Lazy people, shoot sometimes i need to know stuff and i won't even post my question because i don't know how to formulate the questions...

i agree with the point TypeG brought up.
I think I've changed my way of writing over time, most of the people that speak and type really ghetto aren't really ghetto and thats what makes it sad. I live in the projects in Harlem (NYC) and its funny watching people trying to act like a rapper on tv.

i also used to speak with this one girl, who would change every single word and wrote it her own way. WHY?
