why is it an expletive on this board? when i was making my profile, i noticed that where i had put that i worked at a gai bar, it had deleted the word ***. i kinda find that offensive. i'm not *** myself, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with being *** or using that word in context. just sayin'

so the mods can deal with every instance of it individually. yeah they would love that. its used offensively as an attack so it was edited out. makes sense to me. using words like that is childish. the real meaning of the word is never used anymore

Most common argument held by some members here contains major swearing and sometimes racial comments. The fact that they can't hold a mature conversation and act childish. That's how I see it.

yeah that's funny cause you see the word fuck thrown about in almost every thread even tho that's technically against the rules too...so why isn't that one edited? that would make sense to me...idk but seriously, i work at a *** bar and that's just absolutely ridiculous that this site edits that word. a lot of *** dudes use '***' and '***' as negative slang because it's EARTH for christ's sake, people swear and say stupid things. this being the internet, which is by far the worst place on earth to look for an intelligent conversation, you've just gotta get over it. i'd just like to say that if there was a petition to un-ban the word, i'd vote yes. sorry for my bantering lol

i think it's more the racial, offensive adjectives that are edited. mostly something that can be directed at someone whereas "fuck" is just used to enhance the feeling or importance of what someone is saying.
