when i saw that car in a mag i thought it was awsome but when i saw it in person i was turned off because it was auto. not to say that automatics arent cool or cant be fast. just the fact that this build looked like a track car with it's cage and all race parts.

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

joeys car was sick for that feature, and it was barely half done by that time. he did a lot more. that car was awesome. shame he moved on.
but yeah, the accord isnt as popular as the civic and the teg. people generally dont put as much time, effort, and money into an accord as they do those cars though i think the accord is a better car overall. face it. we have old cars. they arent magazine material unless they are absolutely flawless like joeys car... and you live in an area where the magazines go and know people (if anyone doesnt know joey writes for honda tuning now) submit photos, call the magazines, see what you can do. but honestly there arent many cars on this forum that are worthy of a magazine feature. the only two i can really think of right now are from europe.

if you would have read my post correctly i said that i was turned off to the car as in me personally. i never said automatics are slow. just the amount of money that went into race parts. for example people who buy 100dollar jordans a whole basketball outfit and never use it. but floss it like they playharcore ball. I give the dude props for the time and effort. My 92 accord

i wasnt saying that you said it was slow. merely continuing the thought that it can most certainly be fast. the kiddies like to read anti-auto stuff and assume that automatics are worthless.
he did convert it to manual i believe.
regardless it was a show car. i dont think he ever raced it. its one of those things where as long as its shiny and has a ton of parts on it its a winner. magazine cover, i guess that proves it!

yeah thats kinda crap. its not that there arent nice well rounded accords. its just that civics and tegs are more commonly modified. people assume that if you are going to mod a honda it should be a civic or a teg. accords are boring family cars. to me that makes them much more fun.
im actually surprised more people dont really mod preludes. i see fewer well modified preludes than i do accords. out of all the hondas that people mod the prelude is the most sport oriented. the prelude is sportier than the integra at least in its intended market. the integra wasnt really made to be a sports car.

I think Preludes are my fav Hondas... the 4th and 5th gens. The 4th gens are just phenomenal cars, great handling etc though they are gettin a little old. The 5th gens have that awesome interior, guaranteed VTAK and kinda timeless design (except for the nose)...
HT is freakin biased anyway, aside from the fact that they only do Civs/Tegs they also only do west coast stories. Lame as hell
I do remember them havin an issue w/weird azz cars like 2nd gen LEgends and stuff. And they did have that purple Lude on the cover once. But ugh eghth
