Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    winter damage

    Winter 2010-2011 has put a hurting on my cb. Suspension sounds loose, im hearing little knocks and dings as i drive and then there is the exterior, snow plow hit my rear bumper and pushed the car about 5 inchs. Well anyway i was just trying to share some pics, if anyone has similar pics post em up.

    jerm the sperm told me about you hitting your front bumper lol, said you can't drive!

    messed up that the snow plow hit you but at least it wasn't like that guy in NY who had his car smashed in the other thread. as soon as i get a break off school i'm coming to visit!

      Yeah I just went out in the blizzard and polwed through some 2ft tall snow drifts on the road. It was nuts. Sucks about your bumpers tho. Is the plow company covering the damage?

              lol says the guy who if it wasnt for me your front end wouldnt of been the new rear bumper of that pickup your were gonna smash into. Try driving your car out, your lower than i am, the roads have a 3 to 5 inch high layer in the center of the road and on the sides, the only part of the street visible is where previous cars drove on

              that fog had fell on the highway on my way to work in the morning but i saw it slide toward the breakdown lane, after work i drove by and i found my missing fog but now i just took both off (had them on with zip ties because the brackets did not line up with anything)

                I notice my other car's suspension got stiffer in winter time.... I did not drive my black CB in cold winter so I cant tell if the new suspension feel stiff or not.

                  Did the plow hit you or you hit the plow?

                      aftermarket suspension and lowered car wasnt really meant for winter driving. which is why my sedan stays parked in the winter. not taking any chances. and that lip u had on there made things worse....

                          all the plow did was push my car and give the rear bumper a deep grove, my co-worker saw it happened and got his number, since my rear bumper was already cracked when i got it and i did a horrible patch job i wasnt too upset but the owner of the company gave me $200 cash for my troubles

                            Yeah winter blows pretty much. $200 cash? hmm. that won't even get a new set of fogs, or well it will barely but then you'd have nothing left over. If no frame damage, better put that towards a new front cover. And G.O. you said something about suspension noise. I need an outer tie-rod end on the pass. side and new bushings. Might be comparable to the sounds you're experiencing.
