ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

^ I used to do roofing as well. My grandpa and dad had a family business. I would roof during the summer when school was out. It's hard work. After the big contractor boom in NC we went out of business. They had always collected toys, baseball cards, and sports clothing, so we opened a sports shop back in the 90s, which also went under. People just don't collect like they used to

Then we went back to roofing, fixing shoddy work that the contractors had done. using air tools and nail guns on a roof just doesn't cut it. Sometimes old school is the best practice. Grandpa turned 70 and decided he no longer had any business on a roof. He's 74 now and still does it on occasions. Dad wouldn't let me take over the business because I was diagnosed with a rare eye condition (why I'm disabled; legally blind now) which is becoming more common. Said I had no business on a roof. He later folded and started working for GKN in their precision forming department making half shafts for cars.

Some of the ages are surprising. Some are young or older than I'd have expected. Some I just had no clue.

But it's pretty cool to see the different things we all do to make this economy try to work.

im 31. i work at flambeau inc making plastic parts mostly for chrysler and toyota (blow molding). mainly the heat/ac ducts, and washer bottles but some other stuff (cool item we do is the brake ducts for vipers). i do mostly the material set ups and make sure things stay running. graduated from the operator status i make 30k a year so i cant complain to much but ideally id like to go back to school for physics as i am wasting my brain at a factory job. 140IQ and i work industrial but oh well. shit happens, family first and all.
