ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I don't need to make another username to be a smartass.

You will find that as mods we tend to follow certain people closer than others, due to previous history.
Not in the way of holding a grudge, Just for common trends with members who have been told before, yet still ignore you because:
They need to get their "Super urgent response that is need ASAP"
Their question is more important than anyone else.
            They are lazy
            They genuinely don't care

I agree, I could have acted more politely in this thread at the start, but at the same time, this thread didn't need to exist in the first place.

I hate feeling like I have to justify myself, and I always remember one member who basically said "No-one is forcing you to be a Mod, deal with the shit you get, stop being a dick, and get over it"
That was in response to a thread I deleted . . . The best part is that his opinion really meant nothing to me.

I'm not here because I like deleting threads, I'm here because I like the Community, The people, The information and obviously the CB7 (CB3 . . )
I've met people on here, that I've never seen in real life, never actually spoken to, and don't even know where they live; Yet they have offered me a bed and food if I was ever to travel in their direction.

Not to call sideways out, but he made a perfect example of things we try to discourage, and promote at the same time - That is:

He made a thread (Which I deleted) "Doy Request" in the DIY section.
#1 He spelt the title wrong,
#2 He didn't even attempt to give an idea as to what the request was in reguards to.

The thread body said "I would ilke to request a wheel polishing DIY! THANKS!"

Then 17 hours later he posts a thread "Polished and Buffed my OEM Wheels !" in the beginner image gallery.

            So -
He couldn't find a DIY on here (Of which I just found 2 in less than 2 minutes)
He didn't get any response to his DIY request thread which I deleted
Yet he still managed to actually do the job

And after all of that - He didn't make a DIY for the next person to ask . . .

A "Finished" project car is never finished until its been sold.

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.
