ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Wow, never heard of that. I thought there was only the 2.0 in other places. Never heard of a 1.8. Sounds pretty shitty.

there isnt any point in putting a b series in a CB....they will hardly pull our cars since civics/integras weigh a lot less then our cars....which is why and H22 would be your best bet...or some other swap that has been done...if you have the money and the willingness and wanna try a b18..go for it...good luck if you do

they actually have plenty of torque to pull our cars. sure, it might have a way smaller powerband, but they could easily pull the CB. it's just the amount of work involved in making the swap work in our cars and the minimal results that make the swap not worth it.

i didnt know that...but in a sense it would still be pointless wouldnt it...H22 have what 200hp or somethin like that...so that would be the more sense able swap

i know. i said that the powerband is way smaller. i'm just showing that those engines could pull the Accord along with no trouble if they were installed.

and to 92accordbl, both of the B18C's have around 195 HP or something. not too much less at all.

my guess would be since the B series has a ton more market support than the h series does. but the h22 is perfect for the accord. it belongs there!

The power isn't the reason the B series isn't practical, it's the cost and the amount of custom fabrication needed.

To the original poster, you should do some research before you attempt ANY swap.

no problem. and i agree too. the H22 is the perfect engine swap when it comes to our cars. i was just showing that the B18's could pull them along fine. everyone seems to think the B series doesn't have much torque. turns out they have plenty.

but to the OP, H22 all the way.
