Hey guys, quick question. My 93 accord.. f22a6. headers downpipe test pipe and catback.. K&n filter.. aftermarket plug wires and a damn good driver..

Gimme a time. how fast should i run? my cousin said a 17 but i can hang with rsx type s's ...... well there slowly pulling away... but yeah. guesstimate.

high 16 if you can launch.

With my F22a1 headers catback and stock intake I ran a 16.3 with 2.5 degrees of camber so you can imagine the launch. I say low 16's high 15's depending on the launch.

Whether its a manual or auto will make a big difference. And the age/condition of your engine could make more difference than your mods.

Yeah but you might of not run against rsx type-s' frequently like the OP.

93twodoorLX managed to pull a 15.9 with an F22A1 and those mods... and every easily-removable part out of the interior (seats, door panels, center console, speakers, spare, etc...)

He had an AEM SRI, generic header, custom 2.25" exhaust, test pipe, and decent tires (all seasons, but decent). Everything else was 1993 original.


He has since upgraded to an H22 plenum and throttle body and a PT6 ECU. Those mods might knock off another tenth... maybe two.

I just did a 17.1 w/ my Auto F22a6 w/ boltons & H23 plenum/TB swap. I might have an issue w/ running my plugs too hot/lean though. so you could easily knock a second off of that time w/ a 5spd I'd bet

I got a 16.02 with ebay header/intake/hiflow cat/diy short shifter and some cheap muffler lol. With bad tires. Minus trunk stuff and back seats.

sorry but i got to call on hanging with type s's, they have 60 more horse power than you, and are lighter, better gearing, they are quick on the free way

naw dude. Launched from a stop light the other day. off launch we were the same. He was pulling away, but not by a whole lot.he was maybe a CL in front of me after 1/8 mile. oh and btw mines a 5-speed.

And that is what other people are saying but its the third i've ran against and i haven't gotten beaten badly any of the times. so, Im going on april 11th so i'll post it up here.

oh and 60 more hp than me? they run 200-210 stock? Dont think so.... maybe im wrong tho.

usdm rsx type s comes with 200hp and a lot shorter gears than you. i can see you hanging with them in first due to you saying your a decent driver, but after that i cant see you hanging at all they run high 14's stock. are you sure it was the type s and not just the base model??

anyways with your mods, which still seem pretty stock besides a header, good driver with good tires, ima say mid to low 16's?. just my guess. hit the track and find out
