ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Exhaust Manifold Swich

Im just being curious about this question. Could the H22 exhaust manifold fit on the F22?
And If not, does the F22A4 and A6 have the same style exhaust manifold? I know the A4 has the header lookin one but im not sure about the A6.

H22 exhaust ports are spaced differently than the F22 so no, an H22 manifold will not work.

The a1 and a6 have the same type of cast exhaust manifolds while the a4 has the more open header-type manifold.

I'm currently running the DC Sports header, but many people claim that the stock a4 header flows almost as well. It's a good alternative if you're on a tight budget.

i jus upgraded to the A4 an it knocka alil at the bottom of my crossmember i think i''ll just grind some off an it'll be fine other than that u'll also need the downpipe if u chosse to do the A4 swap which is alot cheaper than any aftermarket header. w8 i think the o2 sensor are different as well hmm i think they are reversed on the A4 M/F the A1 F/M correct me if im wrong meaning u'll need to extend the wire dependin on ur IM.

A1 and A6 are both cast, but not the same. A6 is more of a cast header and flows better.

yea the o2 is different too between a1 and a4/a6. i put an a4 on mine, and ghetto rigged it to work. i stretched the wires to the back of my motor(where the a4 o2 is located) then spliced the a1 o2's plug on to the a4 o2 sensor... never had a problem
