ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Lowered Car BUT......... Help Need

I lowered my car 3 months ago. I now have a pull to the left when i brake and accelerate; also there is a squeak (coming from drivers side) whenever I turn left or go over a bump. I "friend" installed the parts.

    KYB g2 shocks
    Megan racing springs
T.A.S. upper control arms /w adjustable ball joint
    intrax 25mm sway bar
Energy suspension: shocks, strut bars, sway bar and control arms

Another "friend" told me my spring is not indexed correctly. While another has said its the upper bearing plate. Someone else said it could also be the shock itself. Its an on going problem thats starting to annoy me greatly.

Hopefully whoever worked on it put everything together properly.
You did get an alignment after lowering, right? And a computerized printout of the before and after? If you did and things were good for a while...Unless you got in an accident or moved a tie rod, something came loose or broke.

After 4 months down...It's back! and tucked.
Need a Swap or some work done in the DC/MD/VA/WV area?
PM me and get it done right!

      indexing the spring is easy.

you'll have to pull it apart but you have to make sure the bottom part of the spring sits in the seat, and the top mount lines up in the wholes, thats all indexing the spring is, you'll have to make a line somehow to match u p the two things.

our front mounts don't have bearings in them i dont think, but i could be wrong. we have upper control arms that pivot, and not the struts.

Itcould be a camber problem or maybe the strut's bolts are tighter on one side than the other. because if you have negative camber on just one tire your car can pull to the side same with toe
