ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

it is possible to have a canadian spec cb in the us as well.

or the op is a dumbass and saying his drls dont work, not realizing that his car isnt equipped with them. kinda like saying my turbo is broken, or my rear differential doesnt work.

DRL = DAYTIME Running Lights. Has nothing to do with nightfall.

its stupid in my opinion. who needs lights on during the day? if you need them for any reason, just turn them on.

its a safety thing but i think its entirely stupid. every car i get that has them gets them disabled immediately. im not burning out my bulbs any faster than i need to

totally agree. i could see why vehicles in CERTAIN areas that might get an instant fog that rolls in, but if you are to discombobulated buy the fog to remember to turn your lights on maybe you should not be driving in the first place.

1 its easier to see a car with its headlights on during the day...

2 some idiots wont turn on their headlights when its snowing or raining, making their cars hard to see...

its not any easier to see a car without headlights on in the daytime. and its common sense for people to turn on their lights in rain and snow. those that dont are idiots. worse are the people that turn on their high beams in the rain or snow. i dont need to be blinded, even during the day.

if either of these are true for you ( not EJX-michael specifically, but people in general ) than you should have you license revoked and not be allowed any other form of transportation other than the nike express.

Next meet, you drive in front of me. I don't want you to have to worry about not being able to see my 3000 lb car without the headlights on.

I'm rolling stealth mode: no headlights on during the day.
