ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    help perfromance mods help

i have a 1993 cb7 coupe ex package i know it has the f22a6 motor. out of curiosity i was wondering what exhaust setup is quieter on our cars, the greddy sp2, or the apexi ws2. I love performance and my daughter is very young so i have to be able to build hp without making excessive noise.
ps i sat her in the car seat today in the honda and she loves it!

WS2 is just about as quiet as you'll get. Add a few resonators in there, and you'll have a very quiet exhaust that both you and your daughter will enjoy.

I loved my Greddy. It sounded really awesome and wasnt loud but not too quiet. And if it helps your last question...with no back pressure the power band rearranged itself for some reason . I put on a cat delete from ebay and it decreased my top end a little bit.

Have you ever heard an RSR exmag? I think that's one of the quietest exhaust's I've ever heard. sounds real good, low tone and nice clean oval muffler design. Pricing is right there with apexi n greddy.

and iono what you're talkin about, my kids love the sound of an exhaust. they're mom hates it cuz they'd rather ride in my car over her nice quiet odyssey.

I've had the Greddy on my 240 and loved it, but the big tip still gets you a ticket in VA. The resonator assembly is as important as the muffler for being quiet.
On my CB, I have direct fit SS piping from an eBay $100 catback system, cut off the giant-can muffler and welded on a "Thrush Turbo" $20 muffler from Advance, with the stock CB hanger. It looks stock except for the 2.5" pipe diameter, and my semi-built H22 sounds very stock until I put my foot in her. It is nice to know you don't have to spend six hundred bucks and can get everything except the name brand decals. Though those are nice.

They quit making the ExMag for the Prelude, that is cool if it is still available for the CB.
