well, you aint going to get torque with a h22...have you considered the h23 or jdm f22b? there isnt any additional wiring since you can disable the knock sensor with a chipped ecu. and i highly doubt you'll be able to afford a hondata S300. that shit is the price of a h22.

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Thanks for the help, i'll probably turbo the f22, i talked to a guy met not to long ago who builds and races hondas. He said the h22 is good for the long run, powerful but better for long run and hard to turbo due to already high compression, and that to just build on the f22 would be easier and probably better for the type of racing i am looking at. That sound about right?

If you wanted a race car you have the wrong car. the CB7 can become a daily driver that handles like a dream and has enough pep for the streets.
Get a H22, do some bolt ons and leave it be, or throw a stage 2 cam on your F22, with all your other mods (h23 manifold, header, tune!) and you should be good in the power department
Get a full poly bushing kit, replace all your balljoints, either go with the Cup Kit which has the best handling, or some Function and Form's paired with some grippy tires and a larger Progress rear sway you will have an amazing suspension.
Turbo is great and all, but with turbo can you jump in your car and do a 300+ mile road trip with out worrying? Im sure few can.wat?

Yea, if you're looking for torque, it'd be a good idea to turbo the f22. kelton's 100% correct though. You could get a turbo kit, and get tuned for the price of dropping an h22 the RIGHT way. Buying, replacing parts before the install, then installing. And also, you wanting torque, you'd want to upgrade to the h22 tranny also, since the gears are shorter.
c91 has a point too. I've been really focused on these f22 upgrades. There's kids on the forum runnin' wheel horsepower you could get out of an h22, with their f22's. Nice cam, cam gear, intake, exhaust, tune, etc. There's a guy that got 18whp out of a delta 272 cam after a tune, which is what made me wanna mod the f22.Last edited by Gotz Cb7; 02-19-2009, 01:20 AM.98' Mustang 3V Swap

So basically, you want a fast street car.
Circuit racing has specific guidelines. A CB7 with a swap will be a weak contender, since that will put it into a VERY competitive class, with much lighter cars.
Drag racing is limited, because you're FWD. Again, anything competitiive will have cars weight 500lbs less... which is significant.
AutoX... you have a shot there... but the CB7 is hardly ideal. This is probably your most competitve arena.
Street... don't race on the street. If you do., you deserve to lose your car AND your license.
Be specific, and we can help you. Otherwise, a general question such as yours can't possibly be answered properly.
