ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    p12

what would be a good price for a p12 ecu?

    #2
That's a personal preference. A good price is whatever you're happy about spending.

If you want to know how much they usually are, that's different than a good price, I got mine for $55 shipped off ebay. You can expect to pay from $30 to over $100. It's all in how much those ponies are worth to you.

I was wondering the same thing. I went to the junk yard and every p12 was gone. You can get them from car-part.com too.

          p12?

Can a p12 ecu fit a 92 accord lx auto 4 speed? What are the benefits of it? If any changes have to be made what? I would like to get one and I do have one at a salvage yard. This ecu is from a 93 ex auto 5 speed and is in mint condition. Could a use it on my car

Putting my 2 cents in alright, anybody have change for a half penny? Ok that didn't make cent.. WTF?

yes, the p12 will work, but not fit the same as the pt3 you're going to replace. It'll give you about ten hp increase. It does not come out of the 93 Accord anything, it's out of the 92-95 Prelude S with the f22a1, so if you found one in an Accord, you've got CRAZY good luck!

There are many threads about it on here if you need or want more information, just search for p12!

I think you would be better off with an h23 upper manifold and throttle body, and keep your pt6, it's designed for more airflow then the p12. After trying both I sold my p12 in favour of the pt6. Also if you delete your butterflies you will loose quite a bit of torque under 4500 rpm.

I <3 my a1 converted to a6, double-stack, working iabs, w/h23 plenum & throttle body, made a noticable difference, and its still on the stock a1 exhaust & air box w/k&n panel. It really makes it apparent how restrictive the stock exhaust is as highway speeds, which is next on my list of upgrades.

How much it costs for a p12 depends upon where you go. If its a junkyard where someone else yanks everything for you, the price could be as high as $50. If you goto a pick-a-part, and pull it yourself, probably get it for less the $20.

                      pt12, pt6, pt3??

Which one would work with my exsiting F22A1 with a auto 4 speed tranny. I would like to increase performance and get her ready for a upgrade on my headers. I want to get at least 50 more horses if possible on a budget.

You have the pt3, all three will work. The p12 is about ten more ponies. You only have one header, not headers. At the beginning of this section you should see a thread about 30 hp for less than $500. GOod information there!

Ok but if I wanted to replace my A1 header with a A6 header would it make any differents at all. I want to try and replace my pendlelum with a H22 would it make any differents. I know that I need to replace my tranny but which one would be better a LSD 5 SPEED AUTO OR A MANUAL?

Stop thread jacking! Go start your own thread, these questions have nothing to do with this thread. And I think you mean plenum, not pendlelum.
