Hey guy's, I searched and didn't find anything on it so I'm posting this up.
I was thinking about getting a CAI but I'm scared cause up here in Wisconsin we get a good amount of rain and I don't want to hydro-lock my engine.
Well the question is do bypass valves or hydro shields really work?
If you guy's don't think it's worth the money to get that stuff, then should I just get a SRI?
Thanks.

A little splash won't hurt anything. You have to submerge that sucker in order to suck water up there. You could probably half-submerge the filter while the engine was idling or at low RPM, and it would draw enough air from the unsubmerged part that it wouldn't even be able to draw water up into the tube.
