ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I've heard mixed things about it myself, never used it. The one thing many have told me is that it isn't safe to use on an EFI vehicle

        life is good.

I have used it countless times on every honda I have ever owned and I have NEVER had any problems with it. It cleans the carbon off the valves and will idle a little better if its never been done. I usually run one can through the tank and then afterwards I run one through the brake booster hose. Its the best fuel system cleaner out there hands down.

I did it to my civic, ran it through the gas if I remember correctly. Didn't seem to improve anything, but didn't seem to harm anything either. So if it did some good for my engine I just didn't notice it. I did however run some of that oil crap through the engine that's supposed to stop leaks and that did absolutely nothing. Wish I could remember what it was called cause I'd tell you not to waste your money on it.

seeing people seafoam their cars is insane. especially if they driving in the streets, leaving a trail of white smoke wherever they go.
I do not know if it supposed to be environmentally friendly, because is sure doesn't look like it (sorry for sharing my EPA thoughts)

So anyways do I just pour 1/2 of seafoam on pcv valve with the car on right? so after that I turn off the car & wait 10 or so. Do I pour the other half to the gas tank or before turning the car on.

If you put it in your crankcase, you should change the oil twice to avoid damage. Of course, I ran for 4000 miles with seafoam mixed with Mobil1, and it didn't seem to hurt anything... but that was REALLY stupid, and I was lucky!

I never put it through a vac line... that always scared me, that I'd do it wrong.

The fuel tank seems to work well as well.

And I've used this in mine and it did make a difference, mind you, my car may have been going through oil worse than yours

u ran it with ur oil? I find that more risky then using the vac lines.

Don't forget about Amsoil Power Foam. I've heard good things about that as well. Probably more a bit more expensive though.

and the rest in the fuel on a full tank before a long trip...

can is 10 bucks so if it works like in the videos then i dnt see it bad i just heard you gotta do it every like 5000 to 7500 miles so every oil change?

I've used seafoam before. It works pretty good. The real test would be to not use it, take off the cylinder head and inspect the carbon build up. Then reassemble everything, use the product then dis-assemble the head again to see what it did. It's more for the sake of SCIENCE than anything but it would tell the truth about seafoam.

What I like to do is run a vacuum hose from my intake manifold after the TB plate and run it into the cab of the car LOL then drive down the highway and seafoam the hell out of it. People behind you give some pretty weird looks. But I do try and do it safely and not smoke screen anyone.
Been a long time. Still alive...
