ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Quality springs, quality shocks, a camber kit, and a proper alignment.

    My suggestion:

Neuspeed Race, Neuspeed Koni Yellows, TASauto adjustabe upper control arm, and a Firestone lifetime alignment plan.

Don't go cheap. Your life rides on your suspension. If you go cheap, you run a serious risk of crashing. If you can't afford to do it right, you can't afford to do it at all.

        x2 QFT, from experience.

Just search, there's arseloads of existing threads already on the topic

I like Tein S-techs, and any sportier shock/strut in combination. Or a one-piece fully adjustable coilover kit, such as Ksport, or Function&Form's. Or maybe even Megan's $800 kit

Look around, and think on it long and hard before you make just "any" decision. Like Deev said, it's your suspension...don't trust it to junk $50 ebay coilovers. I know a kid who had some $40 sleeves installed on his hatch. A top hat let go in the front, and the same night the lower perch let go. To say the least, he was riding on just one in the back. Not cool. So, be careful

        life is good.

Exactly what I have minus the alignment plan... Maybe I should get that as well
Here's the link for the Neuspeed "Super Cup Kit" or whatever, so you can take a look.

I got the alignment plan last year. One Firestone wouldn't take me when I mentioned that my car was modified... so I went to another and kept my mouth shut

They did it with no problems. Of course, my rear tires are cupping, so I need to get some rear camber adjustment as well (I currently have nothing for that, and it ruined my new-ish tires).

I loved when they called and said "Your um... Honda... is ready, sir." (it's debadged...)

it also depends on how low you want to go.

I can get onto any firestone alignment rack. frame sits too low.

There are different racks. The place that I went to initially has a very low profile rack, so they could probably do it. They're well known around here to be the only firestone with such a thing. Mine is on H&R Race springs (a little over 2" I think) and it made it onto a standard rack.

They're an altered version. Better, especially with the matched Neuspeed springs.

Mine is lowered to about 1.5" from ground to frame. The only places I can go have to have a level in-ground rack with no inner support.
