ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

there are other threads on this topic. I know cause i had asked the same thing before. the info i got was purchase PVC pipe and two caps that fit. get a petcock or raidaitor drain plug and 2 threaded on one end and barbed on the other adapter thing for what ever reason i cant think of the daymed name but make sure it fits nice and snug in to the hose you are useing dont forget your hose clamps and enough hose to mount it where you would like. im still making mine slowly. I hope this helps and i cant remember who i got the info from I will not take credit for somthing someone elses info.

an ebay catch can isnt too expensive. i'd rather just do that than make my own. plus it looks nicer. but thanks for the info

Why dont you just get a catch can from agp-turbo and call it a day. Get fuel line hose those they dont collapse as easy. Attach 1 side to the pvc then 1 side to a nipple on the intame manifold but put a checkvalve in between so that you dont vent back crankcase pressure back into the motor.

isnt the check valve already in the pcv valve?

Yes - The PCV valve is a oneway check valve.

This is made from a air compressor air/water separator that can be found at your local home depot or lowes. Just purchase whatever brass fittings you need and use teflon tape on the threads. This worked very well but I did end up removing it because the high heat and vibration caused the clear casing to crack. I've thought about buying another and wrapping the clear case with duct tape and then putting 1.5" plastic loom around it as well. That should make it last alot longer.

This amount of oil cam from 400 miles of driving so you can clearly see the benefit of preventing this large amount of oil from reaching the intake:

you can also look at this DIY http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...ight=DIY+catch.

I did it and it was less than $25. It works really well, I've had it on for 2 years and it hasn't cracked...you need to route the hoses so that the plastic doesn't touch anything

ok, go to old navy/ shaws/ modells, get a cheap stainless steel water bottle, grab some 1/4 inch npt fittings at home depot, drill two 1/4 inch holes in the can, put some jb weld on the threads of the fittings and thread them in. you can toss in some stainless steel wool if you want. theres your diy catch can at a total sum of $14 including jb weld.
