ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

correct me if im wrong but bigger injectors wont help u none. since the ecu governs how much fuel air to mix. even if you were to put bigger injectors in. the fuel pump is only gonna puump out what it was designed to pump. unless u go walbro. and get a tuned ecu and rc injectors.

Tuning the ECU will correct a lean condition. The injectors flow fine for a lightly modified engine. Larger injectors will only confuse the shit out of the ECU, potentially causing even more damage.

You might want to have your injectors professionally cleaned and balanced.

just because "someone" said you might be running lean does not necessarily mean you are. there are plenty of people who have no clue what they are talking about. not saying this guy does or doesn't. i'm just saying be careful whose advice you take especially on something as vital as fuel injectors.

I thought most Hondas were 240cc minus the NSX and Prelude which were 270cc?

I take it your talking about your exhaust manifold? If so, is it a cheap Ebay header? Cheap ebay headers will do this cause they are like paper thin.

If were talking about the oem cast iron manifold, you might have a clogged cat or bent exhaust causing a restriction.

This is of course if the exhaust manifold is actually glowing red hot and someones just not talking out their ass.

A wideband A/F meter will tell you if you're running rich or lean... it's a much better tool than "someone".

Here is a list I was emailed from a local engine shop that cleans, services and flow tests injectors.

1988-'91 Civic Si/CRX Si Peak and Hold 240cc
                    1992-'95 Civic Saturated 240cc
1996-'00 Civic dx cx and lx Saturated 190cc
                    1996-'00 Civic ex/si Saturated 240cc
                    1990-'91 Integra RS/LS/GS Peak and Hold 240cc
                    1992-'00 Integra LS/GS Saturated 240cc
                    1992-'96 Prelude Non-VTEC Peak and Hold 240cc
1992-'96 Prelude VTEC Peak and Hold 345cc
                    1997-up Prelude VTEC H22 Saturated 280cc
1990-'93 Accord Non VTEC F22A Peak and Hold 240cc
1994-'97 Accord Non VTEC F22B2 Peak and Hold 240cc
1994-'97 Accord VTEC F22B1 Peak and Hold 240cc
                    1997-'02 Accord VTEC F23A Saturated 240cc
2003-'07 Honda Accord 3.0 liter V6 Peak and Hold 240cc

Why split hairs between 235cc & 240cc it's 5cc's. Big thing is the impedance of the injectors and the drivers that are being used to control them. As well as the fuel pressure. Fuel flow, as in a walbro 255lph fule pump, does not change the amount of fuel flowing through the injector. However, increasing and/or decreasing the fuel pressure will.

In the current case one would need to know what type of manifold is being used. I had my header (18 guage SS) glowing red hot and my AFRs were a stock 14.7:1. I agree that a wideband O2 is a reliable way to scan your AFRs. You could also pull a spark plug and see what the tips look like. If you are running lean they will have a white dust covering the electrode and ground strap. Worst case they will have already started to melt/burn up.
