ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Open your ECU and look for damage.

tried that. everything LOOKS fine. my guess is that i'm getting no power to the distributor? but how would i fix that. and i just realized that my oil pressure switch connection came undone, but that wouldn't keep it from cranking, would it?

I cant say with 100% certainty, but I'd say no. Are you getting power to anything at all, or just no juice to start. And did you hook up the ECU ground on the T housing?

the only thing i seem to be getting power to is my fuel pump. and yes, i read another thread on here about the h23a1, and i checked that ground like 4 times.

it worked before i took the f22 out. which is why nothing makes sense to me. i even replaced the starter today. also swapped to 5spd. idk if that makes a whole lot of differencein the ignition.

small wire at the starter should be getting battery voltage while you are trying to crank.

                trace back from there.

You said you went with a 5 speed swap, did you do the wiring at the shifter to trick the ecu into thinking the car is in park?

I'll try this. Dumb question, how could I check the voltage? You think maybe my wire harness is maybe grounding out somewhere?

Yes. Actually I followed ChampCoupe's DIY thread for the whole 5spd swap. Lol. Even the park light in the dash comes on.

Did you bypass the clutch switch?

Not that I know of. I figured I didn't actually have one. Lol. And if it's the safety switch, when the clutch is in, it should still crank, right? Unless maybe it's not fully engaging... there's no plug or sensore thing on the actual pedal bracket though.

are all the grounds attached to where they need to be? I remember my H22 wouldn't have any power, not even the door lights without adding a few more grounds everywhere
