Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I believe the difference is (and do'nt quote me on this one) pt6-10 is for manual transmissions & pt6-50 is for automatics. Both of these ECU's are for F22a6 intake manifold, camshaft, & exhaust. If you have an F22a1 or F22a4, you would benefit most from a pt3 or a Prelude S - p12. Just depends on what you have.

If you don't mind, if you could take the top cover off each, take a couple pictures and post them up it would be greatly appreciated.Originally posted by Accord problems View PostHello. Those are both ecu's for cars that have an f22a6, since the letter after the first 3 is an L, it means those are US California Emission Ecu's, if the number after the L is a 5/7/9 it means its an automatic ecu, otherwise manual.
So the L10 is for a manual, the L50 is for an automatic (Both California Emission).
Heres a little breakdown:
AAA-BCD
AAA = Ecu Model
B = Region (A - 49 State Us, L - California, C - Canada, G - Europe, 0 or J -Japan, Q - Australia)
C = Automatic (5/7/9) or Manual (anything else)
D = Revision Number

No number means it's a Japanese engine. Should be the equivalent to the F22A6 (which would make those ECUs correct... well, auto for auto, and manual for manual.)
As you can see by cloudasc's signature, he's working on making the Accord PT* ECUs chippable. At the moment, the most commonly chipped ECU for the F22A is the P06. However, without a fair amount of modification, not much will be gained from a tuned ECU. The stock ECU tune is quite good.
If you don't know how to tune an ECU, you should spend some time learning... or find a good tuner to do it for you. Many people think you can just slap a new chip in there and gain a ton of power (thanks to bullshit ads seen on ebay and in the back of every popular automotive magazine.) That simply is not true. There are no safe bolt-on ECU mods that will gain you a significant amount of power. Many will actually do damage.

As said above, the P06 is the ECU most often used. There is no "best"... essentially, the ECU is just a blank slate that you can tune. Just pick one that has all the features you need (or add them), such as IAB control, etc..
Most people here are NOT making that kind of power NA with an F22A. It's doable, but it will take careful planning. You'll want to have a good port and polish job done on that head.
Regardless, we're going well beyond the initial scope of this thread... and it's damn near impossible to understand you.

You're the one asking us for help. We shouldn't have to work harder to understand you because you can't be bothered to type clearly. If it takes you a little longer to type something we can understand using your phone, so be it. That's on you. You'll find that the more experienced members of this site won't waste their time helping you if your posts are impossible to decipher. I don't mean this to sound insulting or threatening... it's a simple fact. That's just how things work.

Its not the ecu thats causing the less power, the torque converter in the automatic transmission loses alot of power, were talking about 15% power loss from the crank, manual transmissions are only about 5%, both referring to front wheel drive, rear-wheel drive vehicles, and all-wheel drive vehicles have losses greater than this.Originally posted by Accord problems View PostWhy are the auto transmission ecu putting down less than the ones for a standerd?
