ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Photo with questions

    Hi All

Here, I have a photo of some items inside my engine bay.

    - the blue is something I found with a broken tip. It is made of some sort of har plastic, and has a hose that leads underneath the chassis or into the bay, I cannot confirm. -- This is my main concern, because IT IS broken. ( it's location is left side of rear mount/trans mount)

    - the orange is what I believe is the fuel filer location, and would like some help indentifying if so.

    - the green, I do not know what it is, and would like some info on what it is, and what it does. I discovered the little hose that connects underneath this canister was torn today, and I have replaced the hose.

Thank you all for taking time to view/post.

It's very difficult to stick my iPad in there for a clearshot. Someone who could check their bay and see next to the rear motor mount would definatley know what that is .

To close what? My heater?? I'm sorry I don't understand. The actual device itself is in one whole piece, there's just the broken tip towards the front of the car. So as long as the device doesn't break, I'm fine??

They're not too expensive if you go aftermarket, about 40 bucks at Checker O'Reilly

honda lady is right. it is the heater control valve. its not a major fix, but can be expensive. you can do it yourself. I did mine. Removed the intake to get easier access. I also caution you to do this when your engine is cold. Coolant will leak when you replace it and you should do a coolant flush when done. You could just top it up too. Its two heater hoses, one on each side, and a few screws holding it in place to the firewall. Basicall when you turn the heater knob inside, the little weird shaped circle on top will turn, that allows coolant to flow to your heater core which will generate heat, its just like a shut off valve. Like i said, not major so you can go with it like that for now and shop around for a decent price. mine cost about $80.00 from part source and took me 30 mins to replace, had a hard time getting it off of the firewall.
