I just put in new e3 spark plugs and am wondering what a good set of performance spark plug wires are good to go with, also what is the price?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Spark Plug Wires?

Take them out and replace them with NGK or DENSO.Originally posted by RicerSwag View PostI just put in new e3 spark plugs and am wondering what a good set of performance spark plug wires are good to go with, also what is the price?
As for wires, I'd recommend NGK, DENSO, or oem.
I've been considering Bosch or Duralast through autozone. They have a lifetime warranty, so I could take them back whenever. I'm not sure of their quality though.MRT

If they're still in good shape, keep them.
Good shape: Rubber is in good shape
Grabs the spark plug well

Sumitomo was shown in a Honda-Tech test to be the best of all the commonly available brands. 20 year old OEM wires may not be great, but as long as they pass the tests Geoff mentioned, they're probably still better than cheapies. If you want the best you can get, get new Sumitomos.
Don't be suckered in by trendy brands. Hell, even MSD wires aren't as good, and they're praised as one of the best ignition companies around!
HOWEVER... you will probably never notice the difference in wires, as long as you don't get complete crap.

If they're OEM Sumitomo wires, the year of manufacture will be printed in yellow somewhere along the length of the wire.Originally posted by Quashish View PostMine say sumitomo or something thats the oem honda brand right? Haven't used MSD wires on a Honda but on V8's they aren't worth the money. Lots better options with domestic v8's though.Originally posted by jchsmiley View PostI have always used MSD and are arguably the best IMO
On my honda i used Napa's premium wires. They are great on the engine side. Feel great... the distributor end left some to be desired. They snap on good but the rubber boots are working their way off.'94 CD5 EX F22B1 Automatic

I would have to say similar to Geoff stated. If yours are in good shape and your engine is firing correctly, you should be fine. If your engine is stock or close to stock, your only wasting your money if your buying a expensive aftermarket wire. I mean it is a wire if you stop and think about it. As long as its a quality brand NGK or something as stated above you should be fine.
