ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Window Channel, Squealing belt, interior lighting

Picked up a 92' Accord lx and here are a few minor issues that I noticed.

Window jams between the rubber when being rolled down (Window channel?)
Belts squeal loudly on start up (Only last a min or so)
When I'm backing out and I attempt to do a full turn there is a rubbing/grinding noise from wheel area
Sometimes after driving for a while when I'm sitting at a light for a long time the temp gauge slowly rises, or there is a antifreeze smell
Interior door light (Driver side) stays on while i'm driving or when I turn the car off...If i push up against it, it goes off but comes right back on...

It's been a while since I've owned a Honda and I can't recall having these issues, so any advice or help is appreciated.

Coupe or 4 door? Does it go down at an angle?

Which belt? Adjust P/S pump or alternator to change tension depending on belt. It's just a loose belt, catch it before it glazes.
When I'm backing out and I attempt to do a full turn there is a rubbing/grinding noise from wheel area
Front or rear? Could be axle or hub bearing or worse. Have someone else do the manuver and you stand next to the car and inspect where the sound is coming from.

Failing water pump or air in the cooling system or faulty hose, radiator or radiator cap.

Faulty door switch, add a spacer on the door switch so it presses in just a tad further.

4 door...I will have to take another look to see which belt.... It's the front (Sounds similar like the tire is rubbing against whatever its near)....where is the door switch located..

Door switch is in the door jamb just below the latch.

Jack the car up and put on stands and try and recreate the noise rubbing noise. (Car in neutral and turn wheel by hand!)
