ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Fuel leak!! Need help with a part number

Hi here is a horrible pic from paint of what Im looking at

Im pretty sure that part is 24 from this picture

Im not sure what is connects to but I think it might be number 10 from this picture

I heard this is a common problem just not sure what part to get

You are correct for the item numbers in the pictures. Where did you get the pictures? If www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, then it should give you the part number. Some people repair them with a piece of hose. To replace the entire line, it is helpful to have the car in the air; I did one with the car on the highest setting of my jack stands and I still had to bend the line some to get it in. It would help to do it in a warm place with light (I had to do it in the driveway on Christmas eve one year - cold and dark).

On second look, the lines appear to be in fairly good shape, like they were replaced recently. Are you sure the nut on line #10 is fully tight? Sure your fuel leak isn't from the rusty seam on the tank? To replace item #24, you would have to drop the tank.

i had to tackle this on my SE..fixed it with some fuel line and clamps. I will have to fix something in the same area on my new LX will probably go the hose route or hardline and union couplers this time around.

The other lines are new the person I bought the car from replaced pretty much all the lines but that one. I pulled back on the rubber coating and have a giant hole in the line. the nut at the end is tight and does not leak with the putty on it.

I just bought that hose(24) brand new at my Honda dealer, $136.43 CND
And line 10 is the long high pressure feed line, that piece is also in the $100 CDN range...least where I am. I`m redoing my entire fuel system this year, hole in my tank, everything is rusty by the tank. My long lines look to be good shape.
