Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    apexi ws2

    i kno theres been like 10909239 threads about this, but i have a 90 ex and i just put an apexi ws2 on, and it sounds like my OEM muffler, and its definitly a smoother ride, and it gives me midrange power, but is this really the goal of it, i drive an automatic, so i can understand its quiet at times but wow wa we wa.. its really quiet. after an intake would it be louder? maybe new headers?

    Header would yes, but is there a silencer in there (iirc ws2 doesn't)

      i have the ws2 and honestly i think my short ram intake is louder than the ws2...but yea my header made it a lil louder.

        i dunno..my WS2 seems plenty loud...

          o defiently i think its plenty loud also....i like cause during regular driving its pretty quiet but when u get on it it definitely opens up and is loud.

            yeah and an extra cam and VTAK amplifies it a bit....

              i agree with that. that intake screams when you open her up. i like the low sound cause you can just cruise and not have to listen to a coffee can exhaust

                I have the w2 and my car is automatic and its quiet plus have u ever listen to and automatic with a loud muffler they sound like shit and pretty emberacing plus the cops wont mess with u if they cant hear it so i would leave it quiet and save ur self the ticket and the court date plus the cost of puttin on the stock one and then gettin it sign off well that my two cents

                  I have to agree with you.

                  I have the WS2 and I'm an autotragic, my intake drowns it out when I get on it.

                  The WS2 is really quiet, that is why I bought mine. My header did effect the sound but not by much.
                  3 CB's gone....
                  1 WK Overland....

                  Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

                    I'll trade you my greddy sp1 for it? It's a little louder than the ws2. not ricey loud either.

                    184 whp and 149 ft. lb. torque f20b stock now......
