91 accord sedan front license plate bracket?

    91 accord sedan front license plate bracket?

    Was there an OEM front license plate bracket for 91 sedans? My 93 sedans have #9, but those obviously don't fit. On all the diagrams for a 91, I can't find part number for a #9, just #4 and #8.

    For 90-91, you need 3#, #4, and #8 plus the bolts. If there is nothing on your car (no holes even), then you would also need the nut plates (#1) for the inside of the cover. #9 is the 92-93 bracket. I may have a #3 and #8 that are usable.

      Thanks for the info. In doing some research, it looks like #3 is discontinued. If you have a spare one, let me know. There are holes in the bumper for a license plate, but it's obvious it needs some kind of holder.

        I took a quick look - I found the #3 bracket. You would still need the #4 and #8. The other option is to get a 92-93 holder that bolts directly to the bumper; I was able to shave it some to fit the bumper on Ruby. There isn't much support for the bottom, but so far it seems to work OK.

          Would you be willing to sell your #3? It looks #4 and #8 are still orderable. I do have an extra 92-93 that came off of Stinky. I held it up to the 91 long enough to see that it wouldn't work, but I'll check it out again today and study it to see if I can mod it somehow.
