thanks guys, im debating about the interior. wether or not to leave the carpet tan and or paint it black. the seats and the carpet just dont seem to flow to well because they are all black seats. i was thinking of two toning them with matched doors but id have to paint the carpet.

im either going to paint the carpet (black), or get new carpet (my friends dad owns an upohlstrey shop i get it cheap)

i want to 2 tone my seats to match the exterior i was thinking something like this for the interior

(if you dont know already im obsessed with the sti)

    except with black carpet

i wonder how much subaru would charge for thier carpet if its the same as honda (both dealer prices expensive as hell) and if it would come close to fitting i just like the material from an sti, sporty but durable but luxurious!

i need to see pics, depending on how bad it is you may just have to grind sand bondo prime, if its all the way through, metal will need to be used

the red is where i put a sheet of metal behind and then bondod over the top

you have to make sure youve cut ALL of the rust out and thend bondo

to find out how much rust you have, take off the rear wheel and look up in there with a light and see if its rusted. knock it out and grind it away until its all silver no rust then cover it with metal body filler or weld in shiets of metal.

then bondo over it and sand and bondo and sand and prime and wet sand.

how do i get the sheet metal like the one u have to stick onto the car? my shit is rusted pretty bad man. it got holes in front of the wheel and behind the wheel. i know where the sideskirt is is rusted hardcore and i know when i take off the rear bumper its gonna be a bitch. im not a welder either but i do know how to bondo pretty well and sanding and painting is my shit.

Are you going to be doing the two-tone seats?

                        The interior is progressing nicely

thanks alot guys, the complements really make me feel alot better, no1 around here understands cars so theyre just like isnt it an old honda? anyways ive been working nonstop on it, see my problem is the painted black stuff, if it gets scratched, your fucked. so now im laying like 5 coats down on each thing sanding in between each coat so its more permanent.

I get the same thing man. Most people who don't know better just don't have love for the cb7.
