My Euro-R lip Teaser pic's

Well til this morning i had no new projects going.........

That was until a friend of mine gave me his '97 Euro R lip (lucky me), so im going to fit that onto my cb7 :biggrin:

Very nice. I bet that will look relaly nice on your car. I think there's only 2 people on the site that have that style lip, and they're Civic ones modded to fit anyways.

Lovin that lip.... yeah tape won't hold it. Just drill into your bumber through the mounting holes and use some small bolts and it'll stay for sure.

oh and there's another mod you can do to that stock bumper that'll make it look even hotter. Cut out the plastic grill right in the middle and you'll have a nice hole. Get some metal mesh or heck I get silver gutter guard from home depot and paint it to match your car. I'll get some pics of mine up soon. Looks way awesome for a stock bumber.

OK here his how you need to do it.


After a LONG look at the pics I have com up with this.

As far as the front of the lip staying against the bumper use the 3M double sided sticky foam tape. cut a length of it to the size you need. Then cut it about an 1/8" or 1/4" wide. then put it in place and press HARD against the lip to make sure it stays STUCK against the lip AND bumper.

the stock mounting points of the euro r lip will work fine. Just drill holes and us SHORT nuts and bolts. but do this AFTER the foam tape is in place.

Then just cut the excess of the back end of the lip off and smoth the edges (don't want a squared edge lip) and your done.

ya that's the same lip I had on my car. I hit a dog the other day and it broke and busted my bumper so I had to go buy a new one.

This is my second one from the same company. Fits really well with little modification. Once it's all centered, I just drilled a few holes on each side and bolted it up. Then I cut the ends off so it matched the wheel wells. Looked really good, but I don't have any pics.
