    prelude si seats

I put some 89 prelude si seats in, they kick ass, very comfy and supportive, took some modification to get them in, but I love the results!!!!!!!!

well u can aline(sp) the front two mounts easily, but for the right on the driver seat u need to drill a new hole, and the left of the passanger one needs a new hole drilled, the rear two are the hard ones to do.. its hard to explain.. ill get some pics up as soon as i can, u can accually just mount the front two in and both seats, and the seat doesnt go anywhere.. i only have the front two mounted on both seats.. im gonna try to do the rear tommarow

yeah it slides pretty easily, for some reason the passanger one doesnt slide as well as the driver does.. i think its because its not mounted all the way though.. the only thing is.. i guess its a drawback to some people.. not me tho.. u cant use the automatic seat belts anymore.. fine with me, i jus use the lap ones and yeah everything still works fine, besides the passanger seat doesnt move as well as the drivers.. but im shure that will be fixed when its fully mounted

shouldn't a seat that's not mounted all the way be a drawback to everyone?!?!?!?

It is quite possible to do the auto -> man seatbelt swap. I've been looking into it myself. All the material is there, you just have to figure out how to do it all. I'm probably gonna be looking into doing it in the future if everything works out.

Ok . wtf .. lol .. why did this *thread* die ? I'm putting the same seats in my cb7 soon and would
really like to keep the *auto belts* working .. I like the fact that I dont need to *buckle up* myself.
Call me *lazy* .. wuteva .. but, as AccordWarrior said .. "All the material is there, you just have to
figure out how to do it all. "

Has anyone seen it done to the point where we can still retain the auto belt mechanics? I like the
Lude seats alot .. and they *are* goin in .. so .. any *pics* or added info (on the rear's as well)
would be greatly appreciated and immensely welcomed, I assure you ..

I found a lady that simply rocks at doin seats and she's so the bomb .. not bad prices either...
if I could gather as much info, and or some diy images .. maybe it would give her a better idea
in as much as how to make it all work, like it was oem ... ??

                        Thanks guys and gals

                        A Hui Hou !!!

edit: and yes admins .. I am doin more *searches* but this was the first thread I saw that
(while searching) seemed to be the most relevant for my situation
