ive got a 93 accord EX, and its an automatic, and the speedometer only goes to 130 mph..... well ive looked and 90% of the guages go to 140 mph.. so my question is can i use the 140 on my car??? ill have to have it recalibrated right??? but how off will if be to start with??? and how much would it cost to recalibrate? and could i do it myself????

you can use the 140. the speed will be off slightly at higher speeds but overall pretty close at normal driving. just remember you will actually be going slower than what it reads at higher speedsOriginally posted by hampsternazi

at 140, youll really be going 130
at 70, it will really be 65
at 35, it will really be37.5

For like $20 m ore you can buy the gauges that read the correct 130, sure it might be a pain now to pay the extra money but in the end i bet it will be worth it.Comment

im planning on buying mine off of ebay, and they dont offer many choices for the 130 there, so if i can find a 130 i like then ill get it, but i havent seen one on ebay i liked yetComment

the gauges for 140 u get use to them after while but there are sometimes when u get pulled over u say ur going wat the gauges say but then the cop tells you differntlyBump!Comment
