lookin into doing the bumper light conversion. what bulb can you use. h1/3 or use the stock bulb

Right now I'm using a 1157 bulb, rather dim, but I got a hyperwhite that made the color at least look right.
the 1156 bulb is brighter, but requires relay and things to work and risks melting the housing.
H1/H3 will most likely melt the housing as well. -
yeah h3 bulbs will melt housing. I'm on my second set of clear bumpers cuz first set slowly melted away. The ones i have now are cool because they create a slice-like light pattern that goes out about 40 feet from the car.
