There are soo many different types of Silverstars out there, and i have no clue which ones fit my 92 accord. What models/number or types work the best?

Dude, don't even waste your money on those gack (*** + wack) ass bulbs. Head to Strauss Discount or Pep Boys or w/e and get some I think its Phillips or Sylvania Cool Blue or Blue Vision 9005s.
To utilize 9005s in a 9006 socket, you must shave down the tabs within the power connection on the bulb, a piece of plastic trim preventing the use of that bulb. Upon comparison of your stock 9006 low beam bulbs and the 9005s you might purchase, you will notice the difference and thus will know what part to shave off.
If necessary I can post in more detail for you. I'm sorry but I have no pics comparing the output, but having these bulbs in both cb7s that I've owned, I can tell you there is no ricey blue output whatsoever and great output on the road ahead and signs.'93 Bordeaux Red Pearl LX 5MT

br0nx,
Can I do something similiar with my JDM headlights? They use H4's. I dont want to get an HID kit because of the glare problems. Right now I have the Silverstars on my car and they are okay, i could use more light output tho.1992 Acura Vigor

Bronx, please post more...i'm interested. So, are 9005's brighter than 9006 bulbs? I guess that would make sense since those are what go in the high bright socket, but still, post more on this please. Is this hard to do?
BTW, i think silverstars are good bulbs and do put out a lot whiter light than halogens or cool blues

9005s are brighter, I believe this is because they are made for high beam applications and they don't have the coating on the tip to reduce light output.Originally posted by spdACCORDinglyBronx, please post more...i'm interested. Also, its not even a 5min diy to convert the bulb socket to make them fit. You will be modifying the socket on the bulb, not the harness, wiring, or anything on your car.
Silverstars may be good bulbs, but IMO they are not better than what I am running, I've been parked next to a cb7 w/silverstars and they looked stock. Also the bang for buck is alot better w/the bulbs I posted. Lastly, the 9005 silverstars burn out quickly I've heard.'93 Bordeaux Red Pearl LX 5MT
