Just bought these rare tail lights!

I've wanted them every since I had my first CB. I love the stock look too much to keep these on all the time but I've always wanted a set to put on for pictures and car meets. I found them on craigslist :]

So they have 9091 and 9293. Coolio. Just paint the bulbs, signals orange, brakes red. With clear paint from the hobbby shop.

Did you find those on the knoxville Craigslist? I was on my way home and happened to check CL as I was passing through and had considered buying them.. but I had already been on the road for 5 hours... Wasnt stopping for anything.. if those are the ones you got a damn good deal.

Indeed. I fondly remember a girl had those on her 96-97 Accord with the OEM bulbs. I haven't a clue how she didn't get pulled over, her tail lights were yellow!

I remember a big wave of tickets from people running those tail lights because the lack of red reflector.

Oh how I miss the scene, circa 2002.

Awesome. I always loved clear tails.

Only problem is they're super illegal, because you need to have a visible red reflector on the rear of the vehicle.

Not in the states.. yes reflectors but the bulb has to be changed. Like I stated. Just paint them with hobby paint. I did that to mine. For my signals, and bumper lights.

Yes I did find them on the knoxville Clist... and it was a pretttyyy good deal ;] The guy actually lived about 5 min from my old house in maryville. I bought clear corner lights with reflectors in them from him too.

I've already painted my bulbs lol. I wasn't about to be the dummy getting pulled over for white brake lights and tail lights.

These? Did he send you a pic of them? If not then I highly doubt they are the all clears. They're probably just the chrome altezza lights.

The bulbs need to be proper colours. You can have totally clear tail light lenses (ex Lexus RX300, 2007+ Mitsubishi Eclipse), but you need a visible red rear reflector elsewhere on the rear of the vehicle to be DOT compliant.
