wiring diagram for vigor (cc2) headlights

i bough a switch from UK-Accord and i dont fing the famous diagram for this switch..... plz help

    edit by uncle_el:

he has cc2 (vigor) headlights on his cb7, and wants to be able to activate the integrated foglight at the push of a button. the button/switch he has and would like to use is the buton for the rear foglight (edm/jdm).

are you referring to the switch, to the rear fogs themselves, or both?

as far as i know, there is no wiring diagram for the rear fogs. those in the u.s. (i see you're in canada) that have purchased and installed it just winged it

options for installing rear fog light:
    1. install it without wiring it up.
    2. install it, and wire it to the tails. thus, it would come on when you hit your brakes.
    3. install it, and wire it through the car, and use the switch/button/your own button/toggle, thus it would come on when you pushed the button/flipped the switch/toggle.

sounds like you need to a diagram for activating the fogs of the headlight, and not the rear fog.

i'll change the thread title to reflect the actual question.

you can buy an aftermarket fog light wiring kit and use that to power up the H3 fogs on the CC2 lights. or you can buy my JDM CC2 fog switch for $1000

and then you can do this:

it should be identical to hooking up a set of aftermarket or OEM foglights.

the pink text explains what each pin of the switch is for, and youll notice E is the "turn-on" wire. that wire goes to a **30 amp** relay which turns on the foglights - the green text explains where each pin of the relay gets connected.

a relay is needed in almost all cases when wiring up different things to a switch, unless you get a heavy duty switch that can handle the current.

the stock foglight button is a teeny switch which would burn up if you ran the foglights through it. so if you use the switch to flick on a small relay which requires very little current, the relay acts as the heavy duty switch and is the thing that connects the power from the fused battery connection to the foglight bulbs. this is why i say the relay must be a 30amp relay.

i provided the diagram for hte foglight button, when you buy the relay it should come with the pins labelled or at least have a diagram on the back of the box matching the numbers i listed in the picture.

if you can find one, you can also use a pre-made foglight wiring harness instead of doing all of this wiring yourself - its a premade harness where you hook one end to the battery, the other end to the foglights, and theres a skinny white wire which you would hook up to pin E on the button. ive seen the harness for sale in walmart and autozone.

you're telling me that you didn't notice the 3 separate bulb housings in the headlights??

                      you've got H4, H1, and the yellow built-in H3 fogs.

post up pics of the finished product when you get a chance.
