OBX Intake Manifold

well i wanted a intake mani for a f22. i would of rewelded it, and cut the runners a bit shorter. plus is IM is made for the h23 preludes. and if we could run their IM in our cars im sure this one would fit.

see i thought the same thing. but like everyone is saying that it won't clear the firewall. the h23 IM is already a tight fit. the obx manifold will fit, but with modification.

LOL.. its funny how many people say that it wont clear the firewall and yet dont have it themselves to try


so.. i said fuck the naysayers and went ahead and bought the damn thing from PROJECTCB7 got it for a good price.. (now watch as i develope the tidbits to get this thing to work how people will be buying them)

anyway

bump.. just to inform ppl.. that it does clear the firewall.. lol by a good bit (look at sig) u can see how far (towards top of picture) the brake booster line is.. so i got plenty of space..issues? sure

gotta redo cold side for IC piping (NA guys would just rotate intake)
had to dremel out two of the headbolt holes.. had hard castings that didnt allow it to bolt up (5min job)

have to make iacv plate and run to Coldside/port on IM
make a vac log manifold and run map/bov/wg to it


biggest issue.. have to either bend(doubt ill do) or make another brake hard line coming off the MC going to the Prop valve.. no biggie really..

thermostat bolted right up to the manifold(PHEW)

U wouldn't want shorter runners for N/A, u want longer thinner runners
