Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Majestic or Honda Parts Deals for online stuff. Even your local Honda dealership is cheaper than the injector repair kits that auto parts stores sell @ $35 per injector.
x3 for the OEM, i've had a few issues with aftermarket gaskets for my Honda

BUT neither of them have it, and would have to order it. If I'm going to order it, and have to wait anyway...I may as well make sure I'm getting a price I am happy about.

I requested TAS to add it to the site in this thread...maybe he'll come up with it.
i got mine at the dealer, best bet, and there is the injector seals...and i think there is another o-ring seal on it...get them both. i think i just replaced anything that can be in that area.

i dont think i spent more than 30 bucks at honda.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Just 2 seals per injector....top and bottom! The other 2 pieces per injector are just hard plastic spacers/cushions and only need replacing if broken, although I replaced all of that too because I'm OCD with my CB7!

Thanks for the input...I ordered ALL of the pieces late last night from Majestic (great prices!). Came to $41 including shipping. Now I can't wait for it all to get here.

Wish I would have seen this thread sooner, could have saved you money & time. I personally have had multiple sets of injectors sent to Rich at www.cruzinperformance.com. Great guy, great service. He not only cleans & flow tests them, but he can install new injector filters and O-rings on them for you, if you ask. You should have just sent them to him and told him this.

Atleast you ordered OEM parts, however all you needed was four O-rings, as the fuel rail side of the injector is obviously where your leak occurs. The intake manifold side of injector is just an air-tight fit. Therefore, you can reuse your existing spacers & soft rings, as they are more than likely OK (rarely go bad, limited in function). Also, you can reuse the cushion rings that slip-fit on the fuel-rail side of injector (they serve no sealing purpose, not the cause of your leak).

One thing you might consider is sending your injectors to this guy. I've heard good things about his work and you can be sure all your injectors are operating to their fullest!
I linked him to Rich in the 2nd post Cisco! Although I did not know he replaced the seals, although it makes total sense that he does....good to know!

Yes, I realized you did, just reemphasizing. I've talked to Rich quite a few times, good guy, great turn-around time.

PACKAGE YOUR INJECTORS PROPERLY!! They are sensitive.
