Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Carb F22A?

I know that Bisi has carb set ups on some of his F22's but who else does? Has anyone done this one the street? If anyone asks why do this, my answer is because, well I don't know but still

I think you're confusing ITBs with carbs.

no he is correct. prior to 2008 bisi was using weber carbs on his setup both on f and d series engines. its a fantastic way to gain lots of power on a high compression engine but he is now using the kinsler ITB setup.

I've got a JDM ZC dual carb intake on my bench that I will be working with when I get my current individual throttle body build done. It won't be a large displacement build like my current build. No matter what size engine, I like the thought of multiple carbs.

I would just like the ease of almost no electronics with carbs. I would like to make a mani to fit a normal 4bbl carb and see how that does.

unless its a carb'd A20, my gf's first accord was a 3rd gen, they had more vaccum lines nested around that carb than we have wires in our engine bay. PGMFI was a simplification

Oh your darn right after removing all of my vacuum and fuel lines I had a large plate of black and red spaghetti..lol

But that is the simplicity of it....it's only hoses, actuators and vacuum diaphragms. To trouble shoot and follow a hose routing and find a vacuum leak is easier to me than trying to figure out why the PGM-FI system is f#@ked with no CEL. Oh it could be this sensor or that sensor or maybe this fuse or that fuse.... they both have there pros and cons, I myself don't mind working on ether but I prefer less solenoids and sensors ether way.

You think vacuum hoses are confusing. I bought my ZC dual carb manifold to give my head a rest and do something easy during the wiring part of my build.
