Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    110 Octane fuel

Hmm I was wondering if that would be safe for our engines (alaa f22a6..and so on...)

A buddy of mine from work told me about the race fuel...Im a bit scared to use it because right now I run 93 octane...I like it alot.

This 110 is strictly racing fuel but I heard it does wonders...what do you guys think?

To 110 octane or not too...that is the question...

I would say not to run it straight maybe mix 3-4 gallons to a tank of gas but don't run it straight

      No. Don't.

Our cars are designed to run on 87 for a reason. Running racing fuel is pointless unless you have a high compression or highly turbo'd motor.

with our comp ratio u definately want to use 87. U want to get as close to detonation as possible without overdoing it and 93 octane is even over doing it. Octane boosters and race gas by itself does nothing. They only allow for greater ignition timing advance. They are support mods...they allow for something else to add power

Why are you wasting money on 93 for your stock motor?

Not really wasting money on a stock motor here..the car has some light mods..and I've noticed a difference using 93 vs 87. The car runs kinda shitty on 87...but with the 93 it runs a bit smoother.

So before you call it stock..or whatever you may do, check before you post something like your senseless question.

I was only wondering about the 110 octane fuel if you hadn't noticed. Its 5 bucks a gallon for fuel like that and a buddy of mine said it would work..the reason I CAME HERE to ASK was to get my friends tech help.

              I use 93 whenever I can....not all the time.

I only said because if your car doesn't run correctly on 87, what it was designed for, then there's something else going on.
