Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    engine or other

    This summer i am EITHER going to be getting an H22a or wheels tires ground control coilovers with koni yellows and a suspension techniques rear sway bar.like i said i will only have enough money for one out of the two choices and i am having problems making up my mind would the guys that have done the swap give me sum advice as to which i should do first. thx. as of now i have intake header and exhaust with crappy tires but that doesnt really matter.

    I got my car and instantly I had to make the choice you had to, wheels/tires + susp. or motor swap. i went with the wheels/tires + susp and regreted it. but now i have both so i guess it isn't that big of a deal now.

        do the engine, you'll be happy with it, and then you will know what you want in the tires and suspension.

          hmm, doing an engine swap and keeping everything else would be nice, having an amazing sleeper.

            sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum i really had no clue where to put it. and the thing that concerned me was with all the extra power wouldnt i just spin the shit outa my tires? i think i will get the engine tho i just need sum more convincing.

                traction shuoldnt be that much of a problem, just get some decent quality tires, and maybe go a bit wider, controlling throttle will be your traction control system.

                  well i did the wheels and tires and a month later i was doing the swap. I wish i had did the swap first.
