I figured this may answer some of the questions about the install since it's pretty brief and states that you may need to modify to fit. No moding - easy install.
I have read a lot of people saying to avoid these and save up for a quaife LSD on CB7tuner, but on other sites I had found a lot of people that had them installed. I couldn't find strong pros or cons (other than don't buy it, get a quaife) but what I do know is I'll never have a grand laying around for a Quaife.... I only have a OEM H2A5, so if it grenades - no big loss. 100% feedback on eBay so it can't be that bad, right.... I agree, I never would pay $300 for a Phantom Grip since an OBX LSD is just a little more, but these are half that, and in all reality, it's a machined block of steel with 4 springs so I can't imange much of a quality difference.
FFD LSD conversion kit $170shipped
Their site states the product has a lifetime workmanship warranty rather than the other even cheaper eBay units where they told me no warranty at all.

Removed the diff from trans
Remove center shaft dowel pin, and slide center shaft out
Remove one diff. gear bolt (reverse thread)
Slide in LSD converter replace center shaft pin
Remove LSD converter straps and center the LSD converter blocks

The hardest part was compressing the unit. I did not realize how strong these springs were - had to go out and buy a vice. The black and decker work table didn't cut it!
I'm still waiting on Honda to send me 3rd gear and syncros to get this all back together, but it should be up and running by Monday and I can see how she pulls. Can't really push her too hard right away w/ a new clutch and the conversion kit says to allow 500 miles for break in.

In first gear from a stop I would burn the tires all day, but now grip and go, hope this lasts. I haven't pushed her too hard since everything is new and needs to be broke in, but I'll update this with some details when that comes.
A trans rebuild is well over what I spent in total, I just felt like since it was apart it was a good time to do it... So I have a couple of questionable upgrades, and some free time to experiment, which so far seems to be well worth the money. Honestly it's a stock trans with 190mi on her and all I wanted was a good dd trans (what I got and more). Believe you me when the $$$ starts flowing again I don't go cheap and my focus is at the motor - if the trans/clutch holds up, fckn kudos to FFD and F1!
