Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Delta regrinds

I've heard a whole lot on this board about Delta. Can someone fill me in on specifics though? Do they have a website?

I stil have my old F22A1 camshaft, and my friend is (hopefully) getting the sweetest 93 LX I have ever seen tomorrow. I was going to either give him the shaft and tell him about Delta, or just have it reground for him and surprise him.

What kind of performance gains can an F22A1 see from a regrind? Will any power be added by the shaft itself, or will it just be better suited to certain mods?

    their website is www.deltacam.com

Yes, i have heard good things about both reground cam shafts, and the products from Delta. My problem is that my accord is my only car, so i have been looking for a f22a1 camshaft. Every once in a while i find one on ebay, that go for between 5 and 15 dollars, but i am always out bid, i was wondering if anybody has a regular f22a1 camshaft that they would be willing to sell, i am ona budget and am looking. After i get the camshaft i will send it out to get reground, and get my TB and Intake manifold bored out. But i want to get it all sent out at one time, and then have it all put in and on at the same time.

Right now i have headers, full exhaust, high flow cat, short ram intake. I have new spark plugs coming in, then i want the camshaft, tb and IM done...later on i might go to a cold air intake. THen i am hoping to see some performance increases!

I delt with Delta camshaft. They were very easy to do business with. Only cost something like $85 also. Great prices. I sent them a F22a6 cam, and got the 272 grind done to it. I'm pretty sure it is .425" valvelift. and 272 degrees of advertised duration. I do not recommend this camshaft unless you have headwork done. It has a very lopey idle. The 262 cam is better for a bolt on car, and probably has a smooth idle. The 272 cam is a great nitrous cam however
