Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

They did this to make sure that all of the USDM cars would run on cheapo 87 octane without needing fancy electronics. And they met thier power targets with the low compression, so...
      There is NO USDM F22B

You're so particular about being complete with all the information you post, that it's ironic you wouldn't care about getting something so simple correct such as engine codes. It pisses me off when people fuck that up. The F22B is what it is and should not be used to describe anything else; when people do so it confuses others that don't know and perpetuates the stupidity. Add that little X there and it changes things completely.

So are you happy? I irritates me as well, but I am still human.

what about this in an h22 block?

                F22 crank + F22 rods + H22 pistons

longer stroke than h22 crank, shorter rods than h22, Higher compression pistons than f22.. i believe this would work or will the pistons hit the head? Also would the compression be higher than the Stock h22 or less? I have a hard time figuring this shit out

I read the links below earlier today, these guys did the math already. Keeping the H22 pistons and increasing stroke also increases compression.

Apparently, using even a stock F23 crank and rods (with modified h22 or S2000 pistons) leads to some insane n/a power levels....like 300 whp! wtf?
