Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Apexi WS2, Greddy SP2, Tanabe Super Medallion Hyper. Why are you keeping the stock piping?Always remember that only you can make your dreams a reality.

get some whistle tips that makes your car go woooooo woooooo woooooo
but if you can't then you can always get a universal mufler and go to a muffler shop with a welder and have them take care of it
you can also buy an axel back and keep your stock b-pipe but thats not really worth it (unless used and for a good deal)
so your getting a new header, as in a header with a larger piping or a stock one?

Honestly, with a weld on using stock piping, there's a very very good chance its going to be loud and raspy, since you won't have any sort of additional resonators in the piping to counteract the sound.
I suppose if you went with an SP2 universal, you might not be that loud. They're pricey as universals though, and you still need a shop to weld it on, which means they ahve to expand your stock piping size, since I'm not sure whether the SP2 universal is 2.25 or 2.5 inlet. That's just going to run into a nice chunk of money. I'd probably save up for a used catback that ocassional pops up on the forum.
I don't even know if they make WS universals, b/c I don't recall seeing them around.
For what its worth, a 3" short ram is going to scream when you get on it and sound plenty low/deep, and still be quiet at idle. Being quiet at idle is a good thing.

The universal muffler I have for sale WILL give you a nice quiet and deep tone. Almost silent at idle, andd grumbles with power at highway speeds. I would put it back on my car, but i dont know if I am going another route, or custom.Originally posted by AccordWarriorHonestly, with a weld on using stock piping, there's a very very good chance its going to be loud and raspy, since you won't have any sort of additional resonators in the piping to counteract the sound.
