Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Most gauges have a calibration adjustment. Is there a screw somwhere that looks out of place? Like it isn't to hold the thing together? Try turning that. Or contact autometer (the manufacturer) and ask them. They may have the manual in PDF on their site.

Usually the best thing is to replace it.
Once a gauge has been dropped and the needle is reading incorrect, the calibration is out. Even if you do get it back to zero, there is no gurantee that any other readings (from zero) are correct.

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.

i had to take the bulb out,if you look inside where the bulb goes, there's this piece that looks like a rod bearing(first shit to come to my head lol) i used a flat screw driver to move it forward till the needle hit the vac limit,as it hitting it ,it's moving the needle back to zero, keep doing it till you have it set on zero .

              hope you get it
