Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Long as u have a good tuner I dnt see it being a problem at least for a few years... Long as the block is strong that is... And key word is few years. Dnt know if you will reach ur power goal at that or not... Depends on healthyness of the motor and mainly on the tunners skills... But will still be super fun car... I would imagine u will be rather close to ur goal or not.

Just out of curiosity why not built the bottom end a lil? Just to be on the safe side unless u plan on going through a motor every 2-3 years or so... Depending once again on the healthyness of the block and the tune....

However Im just newb to the whole boost world just repeating facts to save the pros some time...

Actually my plan is to build up the bottom end next summer/winter, but for now I just wanted to get a taste until I can go all out

Lol 12lbs was actually the max I'll ever push it on stock internals. I honestly would like it to last at least until next year when I'm able to build the bottom end. I have less than 150k on the block as we speak so hopefully its healthy enough to take a beating for a year or two, but I've yet to run a compression test so I'll know then.

            it's Crome, not "chrome"

why a FPR? those injectors will support 260+ hp

why a cam gear? just curious.

I picked up the intercooler kit earlier today along with a second turbo which I belive to be a T3 Super 60. The specs are .60 compressor and .63 hot side

Any pics? 220 on a super 60 at 8psi sounds very plausible

I was just curious about cam gears and whether they would give any significant gains or just move the powerband around... as I've never used them myself.

Good luck man. This thread needs PICS!

Yea I know sorry for the delay but there's been a bit of change in plans. I've decided to leave the h22 n/a and drop it into my current cb and go for the full rebuild on the f22 to drop into another cb preferably a 90/91 ex coupe. So in the meantime im just prepping for the swap. After that's complete I will be resuming the turbo build except with a new power goal of 350-400whp using using my t3 super 60 while upgrading to an obx ramhorn and 272 regrind. As for my internals I've chosen the h22 rod and evo piston combo.

Is there a way to rebuild my wastegate with better internals? I remember seeing something like this before but can't seem to find it.

Which one is better for my setup?

                            T3/TO4E

                            T3/TO4B (I believe so???)

I was doing a little research and it has come to my attention that a to4b is inferior to a to4e. So even though the trim is larger on the to4b, the to4e could still be a better flowing turbo. Is this so? Can someone help me out by explaining this a little further? Thanks.
